Mrs. Amy Goodwin is a teacher at Little Lambs Preschool. She did extensive substituting for us during the 2018-2019 school year and was hired as our full-time teacher in 2019.
Before taking a break from teaching to stay home with her young children, Amy taught kindergarten in the Danville Area School District for 10 years. She has been the Children's Ministry Director at CMF since 2011, and will continue in that part-time role. She has a Bachelors of Science in Education degree from Bloomsburg University, with dual certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
Amy and her husband, George, are the parents of four children. She looks forward to interacting with the preschoolers on a daily basis and sharing her love of learning with them in the coming year.
Mrs. Wendy Wood is passionate about working with preschoolers and we are excited to welcome her to our teaching staff in 2020. Mrs. Wood was employed the last five years as a teaching assistant at another local preschool. Additionally, she has taught preschool fitness classes at Evangelical Hospital and has lots of volunteer experience with preschoolers.
Her goal is to make her students’ first school experience a fun and memorable one!
Mrs. Wood is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Studio Art. She and her husband, Craig, are the parents of three children, and they have a dog. She loves to be outside in nature, where she enjoys running and hiking. She also enjoys reading.
Mrs. Wendy Hollenbach joined our staff during the 2019-20 school year as a long-term substitute helper, and we’re thankful she has returned as a permanent helper in 2020. She does a great job of encouraging the children and supporting our teachers in the classroom, as needed.
She states: “I love working with preschoolers because there is never a dull moment. With lots of laughs, the day just flies by! I enjoy being able to support parents this way.”
Mrs. Hollenbach is a busy mother to five children, three of whom have been Little Lambs students. She enjoys reading, hiking, biking, yoga, and doing projects with her children.
We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Carrie Beachy to our staff family this year as a helper. She is no stranger to Little Lambs, having become acquainted with us as a parent of four awesome kids! She enjoys being outside, gardening, cooking, kayaking, and camping with her family. She loves traveling and eating foods from around the world, and in her free time she loves to drink coffee with friends and be creative.
In addition to working at Little Lambs Preschool, Mrs. Beachy is a substitute teacher at Milton Area School District.
